Oakdene pupils and staff conquer Snowdon
On Saturday 19th September, pupils and staff at Oakdene Primary Academy embarked on a huge journey to raise funds towards a new Legacy Playground at the school.
Together, the Oakdene community climbed the Llanberis Path on Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa), the highest mountain in Wales.
The vision behind the fundraising project is to deliver a vibrant and inclusive outdoor space at Oakdene where children can play, learn and grow together for many years to come.
By taking on one of the UK's most iconic mountain climbs, staff and pupils at Oakdene have set a shining example of just how committed they are, reflecting the same levels of ambition and perseverance that the school encourages in all of its pupils.
This playground will be a beacon of joy and inspiration, embodying the spirit of those who dared to dream big.
